We are looking for a Field Service Technician & Mobile Welder of Heavy Equipment & Farm Machinery that ensures all machinery and equipment is kept in good operating condition. Develops and performs all maintenance according to schedule, and communicates equipment needs and conditions on a regular basis to ensure operations are kept at optimal performance.

Pay Range: $27-$33 DOE

Job Duties:

• Perform all on-site activities related to installation, repair, management and maintenance;
• Execute plant maintenance ie. Change bearings, pulleys, belts, shafts, assemblies;
• Fabricate guards, chutes, patch bins, etc.
• Field measure and fabricate with and without prints;
• Move and Load materials, equipment, parts, and tools;
• Track and document the progression of the work;
• Identify all issues and perform troubleshooting;
• Suggest and implement solutions;
• Check and update field automation systems;
• Collaborate with team-members;
• Build relationships and trust with customers and clients;
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50lbs to a height of 3-4 feet;
• Remain stationary, standing for extended periods of time;
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as required for positioning;
• Ascend/Descend, or work On/Atop a ladder;
• Repetitive motion;
• Endure extreme temperatures (hot or cold), inclement weather, exposure to elements.

Experience Requirements:

• Tool Proficiency: Welders, Grinders, Bevellers, Air Arc, Torches, Measuring Tapes, Steel Squares, Basic Tools, and any other relevant fabrication and layout tools;
• 3-5 years of experience Field Service Technician or similar role;
• SMAW 3+ years’ experience;
• GMAW 3+ years’ experience;
• GTAW experience a plus.
